The SafeStar 55 Filter (MP01790) is a single-use mechanical breathing filter designed to provide effective protection for patients and medical equipment against bacteria and viruses during mechanical ventilation (MV) and anesthesia.

 

The filter provides a bacterial and viral filtration efficiency of 99.9999%, requires no humidifier, and is recommended for use in operating rooms, intensive care units, and resuscitation departments.
