Patient Monitoring Solution

Transform your clinical workflow with the Infinity® Acute Care System monitoring solution. This innovative solution opens the door to a new dimension of patient mobility, connectivity and configurability. This bedside workstation provides a clear, widescreen view of your patient‘s real-time vital signs together with comprehensive patient data – such as images, historical data and other networked clinical information. The Infinity Acute Care System monitoring solution is designed to streamline workflow in all care areas – including the Intensive Care Unit, Operating Room, Emergency Department and Neonatal Intensive Care Units.

Іnfinity® Acute Care System consists of:

    Infinity® Acute Care System

  • Infinity M540 - portable patient monitor, lightweight, durable and reliable (1.2 kg including battery), waterproof
  • Dräger Infinity C500 or C700 Medical Cockpit®,
  • Infinity® M500 - docking station stores care area proile settings for the M540 monitor and charges the monitors internal battery for patient transport. Provides system networking and communication between M540 and Medical Cockpit via P2500 power supply, waterproof, rechargeable
  • Infinity® P2500 - provides networking and power to the Infinity Acute Care System for monitoring, connects it to the Infinity Network, and provides an optional connection to the hospital’s alarm output (staff alert) system.

The Infinity®M540 multifunctional monitor provides continuous monitoring and recording of parameters and alarms in real time during transport (sensors and cables remain connected to the patient) and in the hospital. The Infinity M540 follows the patient throughout their treatment, from admission to discharge. Thanks to a variety of MPod® and MCable® plug-in accessories, the system can instantly scale to support the patient’s changing acuity level.

Infinity® Acute Care System

The Infinity® M540 monitors the following parameters: 10-lead ECG, basic arrhythmia, respiration, pulse rate, temperature, non-invasive blood pressure, and invasive blood pressure.

Software option 12-lead ECG:

  • enables 12-lead ECG on the IACS

Software option Multi-IBP:

  • to monitor more than 2 invasive blood pressures on the IACS
  • option for use with patient parameter module Infinity MPod Quad Hemo

Software option Arrhythmia II:

  • for adult and pediatric patients
  • supplements basic arrhythmia monitoring with: accelerated idioventricular rhythm, ventricular run, supra-ventricular tachycardia, couplet, bigeminy, tachycardia, bradycardia, and pause

Infinity® Acute Care System

Infinity® Medical Cockpit is a control medical terminal, available in two sizes: C500 - 17'' (43 cm), C700 - 20'' (51 cm). The Infinity® C700/C500 Medical Cockpit is the central display component of the Infinity® Acute Care System (IACS) for displaying and accessing data right next to the patient. The interface of the Infinity C700/C500 monitor is configured independently of the interface of the Infinity® M540 portable monitor. Displays up to 16 waveforms and numerical physiological parameters.

Infinity® Acute Care System

It displays parameters received by the Infinity M540 monitor, as well as data from IT applications interacting with clinical and hospital information systems. For the convenience of working on the Medical Cockpit, there are up to eight pre-configured data display modes (views). Additionally, users can create up to 8 custom screen configurations. Alarm monitoring and management and parameter settings are adapted to the clinical task and patient category. The split screen function allows you to continuously display the current measurements of the patient's parameters, and at the same time view trend and event records, display information from system-integrated equipment (Dräger anaesthesia and ventilator devices, etc.) on the screen and running software applications. Fanless, easy-to-clean design reduces risk of cross-contamination.

There are 96 hours of trend data available on the Medical Cockpit and 72 hours on the Infinity M540 monitor. Trends and events gathered on transport are automatically available at the Cockpit upon arrival:

  • Data resolution 30-second sampling
  • Trend tables 1 minute, 5 minute, 10 minute, 15 minute (default), 30 minute, 1 hour display formats
  • Trend graphs 1 hour (default), 2 hour, 4 hour, 8 hour, 12 hour, 1 day, 2 day, 3 day, 4 day display formats

Alarm History and Events

Alarm history review allows a retrospective view of significant events in the patient’s history. Event storage provides up to 150 events, 20-second strips, all monitored waveforms.

Lung Recruitment Application

  • Displaying direct relation between hemodynamic and ventilation data allows clinicians to assess the effect of therapeutic procedures
  • A comprehensive trend page for visualizing information necessary to perform a recruitment maneuver. The page shows the effects on lung mechanics and hemodynamic parameters on a single, integrated display. The Recruitment page displays twelve minutes of data for a maximum of 9 parameters, which are configurable
  • The page provides cursor buttons to reference separate data points on the trend graphs. The corresponding values are displayed next to the graphs
  • The current values for the selected trend parameters are always displayed across the top of the screen with arrow symbols to indicate if the parameters have trended up, down or stated the same
  • A recruitment trend graph report (can be printed) which contains the initial and end cursor values and the Δvalue for each parameter

Calculations

Physiological (hemo/oxy/vent) calculations – optional

  • Calculations can be performed using automatically entered values (as a result of algorithm processing), or manually entered values

Drug dosage calculations

  • Налаштування списку ліків до 40 препаратів

The Infinity Acute Care System monitoring solution responds to the growing need to improve clinical workflow in acute care settings.
