The Isolette TI500 Transport Incubator from Dräger is a self contained, mobile, intensive care unit.
Consistent air temperature and humidity are essential to the health of a premature infant. The Isolette TI500 Transport Incubator has a double wall design which reduces radiant heat loss from the infant during transport between departments or between hospitals. An integral humidity pad helps minimize the infant’s evaporative heat loss by providing 50 to 70 percent humidity in the patient hood for up to 12 hours.
The durable design of the Isolette TI500 means it can be taken nearly anywhere and still provide the warm, safe environment and quick access necessary for optimal neonate care. Built in accordance with stringent IEC and CE standards, the TI500 is low maintenance and features both easy cleaning and servicing.
The controller TI500 features a display that is easy to read at any angle during transport. Caregivers can select temperature, humidity and oxygen concentration of the incubator microenvironment while the Isolette® provides continuous data on the temperature of the newborn, air temperature, battery condition, power supply mode and alarm status. Incubator has positioning straps and 2 integrated cylinder holders.
The hand-made acrylic hood is scratch resistant to maintain transparency over time, and an integrated examination light gives you high quality illumination for visual evaluation.
You can choose either a standard hood or a high hood. While both have a low profile, the high hood offers two more inches of clearance through a larger front access door.
The high hood option further facilitates access to baby and provides more room for larger babies, clinical disposables (diapers, blankets, etc.) and even more uniform air flow and temperature distribution. Add an i.v. pole, a second monitor shelf or increase the offline range with an additional battery.
The Isolette TI500 Transport Incubator operates on AC or DC power, using AC when available or switching to its internal battery when necessary. And of course the Isolette TI500 Transport Incubator also operates on the external DC power found on board emergency transport vehicles.
To make transport easy, the Isolette TI500 Transport Incubator is designed to fit into smaller spaces. System weight has also been reduced to enhance mobility and ease access in and out of emergency transport vehicles.
The Isolette TI500 can be placed on Trolley for transportation in the hospital (Model I47 - 3 Position).
