The Dräger Atlan A350/A350XL Anesthesia workstation

The Atlan A350/A350 XL Anesthesia workstation are designed for low and minimal flow inhalation anesthesia in adults, children and neonates.

The design architecture of the Atlan A350/XL anesthesia machines allows for flexible response to individual customer requirements and provides an ergonomic and comfortable workstation for virtually any size operating room. Compact or large trolleys, ceiling or wall-mounted versions provide good access to the patient. The flexible design allows hardware components to be installed in different positions, such as patient monitors, intravenous pumps, IT equipment, shelves, etc., to offer customized workstation solutions.

The devices are equipped with an electronically driven E-Vent plus piston ventilator (no additional driving gas required for operation), an electronically controlled fresh gas mixer, integrated manual emergency O2 supply; they are characterized by precise tidal volume delivery, with fresh-gas decoupling, active PEEP control and high trigger sensitivity.

The fresh-gas decoupling ensures that changes in the fresh gas flow do not affect the applied tidal volume, ventilation pressure, or the accuracy of tidal volume delivery, even with very small tidal volumes, such as those down to 5 mL.

Operation is via a 15.3-inch touchscreen display with the standardized Dräger concept and the ability to configure the display. The units feature an integrated checklist and illustrated instructions, fully automatic system testing, integrated, adjustable lighting for work and documentation surfaces, and an integrated active or passive anesthetic gas scavanging.

The compact breathing system is heated to prevent condensation and can be disassembled without tools for hygienic handling.

  Using the Auto On function, the device can be programmed so that it performs an automatic system test and is tested at a specific time.

  Advanced ventilation monitoring
